Mission San Luis Obsipo de Tolosa

Various holiday arrangements for the happenings at Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.

Priest Ordination Ceremony Piece

Altar Piece

Altar Piece: About 3.5ft-4ft tall

Altar Pieces: Needed to use whites, as well as pastels because there were a few events going on during the same day: Confirmation, Ordination, and Mass. Glad we could make these arrangements so versatile for our client.

Draped in red flames for Pentecost Sunday

We were instructed to create a design that looked like it was on fire. I think we succeeded!

"Tongues of Fire Descended Upon Them"

Tabernacle Pieces

Floral arrangements for the Assumption of Mary

We wanted to mimic the physical assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven. We used a palette of colors that complemented each other and brought out the golds and indigoes in the murals on the interior of the church, and ivory manzanita branches that reach up and through the arrangement like Mary's robes flowing behind her as she ascends into Heaven.
